Boyle County Judge/Executive Trille L. Bottom announces two vacancies in the office of Constable within Boyle County.
A vacancy exists in District 2, which encompasses Junction City, following the resignation of Constable Dennis Curtsinger.
A second vacancy exists in District 5, which encompasses downtown Danville, following the death of Constable Randall Riley.
Any qualified citizen residing in District 2 or District 5 who is interested in being appointed to serve as Constable for the remainder of the current term—which ends December 31, 2026—should contact the Office of the Boyle County Judge/Executive.
The filing deadline to run for election to either constable position is Friday, January 9, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
Judge/Executive Bottom expressed appreciation for the service of both men, stating, “We are grateful to Dennis Curtsinger for his service to the Second District of Boyle County, and we honor and acknowledge the dedicated service of Randall Riley to the Fifth District prior to his passing.”
