Boyle County Fiscal Court to Dedicate Monument Honoring Veteran Hall of Fame Inductees
Danville, KY — Boyle County Judge-Executive Trille L. Bottom and the Boyle County Fiscal Court will dedicate a new monument at the Boyle County Courthouse honoring Boyle County inductees into the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame.
“The granite monument honoring our Hall of Fame Veterans will sit prominently next to the monument that honors those lost in our foreign wars,” said Judge-Executive Bottom.
Established in 2010, the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame (KVHOF) recognizes Kentucky military veterans for their outstanding military service and continued contributions to their communities. To date, the KVHOF has inducted more than 200 distinguished veterans who continue to serve and volunteer across the state and nation.
The new monument, costing $13,000, was funded by the Boyle County Fiscal Court. Site preparation and placement of the monument were sponsored by VFW Post 3634 and American Legion Post 46, which each contributed $3,750 toward the project. The Boyle County Public Works Department prepared the site, completed the concrete work, and landscaped the area.
“I am so very proud of our Public Works crew for improving our Veterans Memorial and making it look more polished and professional,” said Judge-Executive Bottom. “We could not have completed this project without the generous donations from our local VFW and American Legion.”
The dedication ceremony is Monday, November 10th 2025 at 12:00 noon in front of the Boyle County Courthouse.
